What is Probing perjodontali u kejl tal-but?

The clinical process of measuring gum pocket depths around each tooth to assess periodontal health.
Periodontal probing measures the depth of the sulcus or pocket around each tooth, typically at six points per tooth, using a calibrated probe. Healthy pockets measure 1-3mm; depths of 4mm or more indicate periodontal disease. The measurement also records bleeding on probing, gum recession, furcation involvement, and tooth mobility. These measurements form the basis for periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning.
