What is Root Canal?
A treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth by removing the damaged pulp.
Root canal treatment (endodontic therapy) involves removing infected or damaged pulp from inside a tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the canal, then filling and sealing it. This procedure saves teeth that would otherwise need extraction and relieves pain caused by infection.
